2 months old!

Can you believe it??! Myles turned 2 months old Saturday! this has been an eventful week:




Monday, I went back to work so therefore Myles began daycare. Here is a pix of him all stressed out getting ready to go:

He actually did really good at Day Care---all but one day. I love it because it is getting him on a great schedule. I truly lucked out, the daycare is within our neighborhood and I've known the director for at least 8 years.  She has only a few kids and only 3 infants. With that she has 2 helpers so there is lots and lots of attention.  She works with them and gives them tummy time every day, reads to them, etc and has the perfect demeanor you WANT your daycare provider to have.  I also like that she charts what he is doing every 15 mins so I can check when I pick him up how he slept, when he slept, when he ate, how much and all diaper changes.

We went out for our first restaurant outing to celebrate cousin Kevin's 15th birthday at Cabo Fish Taco on Saturday---here is Aunt Karen holding him (UNC was playing in NCAA tourney that day---Myles was sporting his support)

 
 
 
 
 
 
And the most exciting part-----we went for our 2 month check up today at the pediatrician..............HEALTHY AND PERFECT! Thriving is NOT an issue for this boy!  He LOVES his food!!   Myles is weighing in at 12lbs 10.750oz and is 23.750" long. AND trying to show off for the doctor--he almost rolled over for him today!! YEAH!

Time is flying by at warped speed! I can't believe this little peanut is already just about 7 weeks old!!!
that means lots of changes----We went for our one month check up and he weighs in at 10lbs 10oz!!!! OH MY!!!!    but very healthy and got 2 thumbs up from the pediatrician.  He is holding his head up now and he SMILED the other day for daddy!!!! tried to capture--I think I did in one pix but I was so mesmerized with him smiling, it took me a while to run and get the camera!   Here are some other random pix of Myles from the last week or so. I go back to work on the 21st of March--so I will try and get LOTS of pix of him  this week!   Click HERE for the pix.  enjoy!

OK, can life get any better than this??? this is how I was woken up the other morning----Myles "talking" in his crib----

FINALLY!!!!

OK, I have been slack---I am very sorry! But click here are some pix of Myles in his first month of life! yep, can you believe it....he was 1 month old on Saturday! yikes!!!! time is flying by WAYYYY too fast!  We are finally getting into our daily routine...his personailty is starting to come out--and he is one happy, curious baby!  He loves to look around and see all that there is.  I am not sure what we did, but we did get the most perfect baby out there! He is not fussy, sleeps relatively good, and is amazingly good looking!

We went to the doctor last Tuesday, and he is now weighing in at a whopping 9lbs 8oz!!! the doctor even gushes at what a good looking baby he is and all of the nurses just love him!

I promise I will post pix on a more regular basis----

I'm coming!!!

Bear with me----Mom is visiting and we are having awesome grandma/Myles time--and we just had a shower thrown by some awesome ladies at my work--and Mindy and Maggie decide to surprise me and show up!!!! So I promise to post more pix and videos this week after I get caught up and catch my breath----just a blurb and few pix to satisfy you for now----One note, Myles is growing like a weed and is almost outgrown all of his newborn clothing now--and is in 3 month size--HOWEVER, I have enough clothes to outfit the state of North Carolina---please no more clothes for now! He won't have time to wear them all! Books are VERY welcomed if you feel compelled!!!

It is indescribable to try and explain how happy Matthew and I are....I'd like to introduce to you the newest member of our family............ Myles Timothy Sawick!  He was born Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at 2:32am weighing in at 7lbs 11oz and 20" long.
